We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Tampa, Florida. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and prepared for shipment. Your primary responsibilities will include accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets, inspecting items for quality and damage, carefully packing orders into appropriate shipping containers, and labeling packages for transit. This position requires attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be trained on our state-of-the-art inventory management system and best practices for order fulfillment. This role is essential to our commitment to providing timely and accurate delivery of goods to our valued customers. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock according to order specifications.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure quality control.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into designated shipping boxes.
- Label all packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
