We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Sacramento, California! This position is fundamental to our daily logistics and distribution efforts, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and safely. As a Warehouse Worker, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will operate various warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move inventory throughout the facility. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and all employees are expected to strictly adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role demands physical endurance, including significant Lifting of items weighing up to 60 pounds, as well as prolonged standing and walking. We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to teamwork. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse areas using proper procedures.
- Accurately pick orders based on pick lists or scanner technology.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring all necessary documentation is attached.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including aisles and common areas.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Properly use and maintain all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with manual labor and enjoy an active work environment. Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is highly desirable. The capacity for heavy Lifting is a critical requirement.
