We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics operations. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, and distributing materials. You will operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move products around the warehouse. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure accurate inventory management and timely fulfillment of orders. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and guidelines. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. We provide comprehensive training on all equipment and safety procedures. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare packing slips to verify accuracy.
- Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas according to established procedures.
- Pick and fill orders from stock, transport items to packing stations, and ensure orders are accurately assembled.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring aisles are clear and safety hazards are mitigated.
- Regularly inspect equipment for proper functioning and report any issues to management immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet established performance goals for productivity and accuracy.
This role requires the ability to perform manual labor, including significant Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus, but not required. We value teamwork and a commitment to excellence in our logistics operations.
