We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of products. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and compare parts against invoices, identifying shortages or damages.
- Stock and organize materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specifications.
- Load and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and handling of materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
