Our Austin, Texas facility is hiring an Inventory Clerk to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. In this critical role, you will be responsible for tracking inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that our inventory management system is up-to-date. Your work directly impacts our logistics operations, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. Attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Update inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Receive and process incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy of counts and product details.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock on shelves and in designated areas.
- Generate inventory reports as required.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain principles.
