Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming freight, meticulously checking for any damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order tickets.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Stage products for shipment, organizing them by route or carrier.
- Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through diligent work practices.
- Perform tasks involving significant Lifting of boxes and materials, following correct techniques.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from clutter.
- Always wear and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with regular inventory counts and checks.
- Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to handle substantial physical work, including frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 55 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety protocols.
- Willingness to consistently use provided PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to punctuality.
