We are looking for a meticulous Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This position is key to ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting customer deadlines. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documentation, such as bills of lading and manifests, verifying shipment details, and coordinating with freight carriers for pickups. You will also be responsible for accurately labeling packages and ensuring they are properly staged for departure. Maintaining strict adherence to Safety guidelines and the proper use of PPE is a must. While this role may not involve heavy Lifting as frequently as other positions, there will be instances of moving packages weighing up to 30 lbs. Understanding of Logistics principles and experience with shipping software (e.g., FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip) is highly advantageous.
