Exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer at our distribution center in Huntsville, Alabama! If you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. We are deeply committed to the safety and well-being of our employees. Therefore, strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are expected. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to handle significant Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. We are looking for individuals who are organized, efficient, and possess a strong work ethic. Experience in a similar role is beneficial, but we are open to training dedicated individuals. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented attitude.
