Join our bustling distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for motivated individuals to be part of our efficient logistics network. In this role, you will be responsible for picking items for customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Accuracy and speed are key as you navigate our warehouse using scanning technology. You will meticulously select the correct products, ensure they are free from defects, and then pack them securely to prevent damage during transit. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, involving walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Safety is our top priority, and all employees are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow all established safety procedures. Experience with RF scanners and order fulfillment systems is a plus. We foster a positive work environment and provide opportunities for growth within our logistics operations. - Accurately pick products based on order lists and scanner data.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Verify order details before sealing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like hand trucks.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to achieve daily goals.
- Must be comfortable with consistent lifting.
