We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring accurate inventory management and timely movement of goods within the facility. This position is vital to our overall logistics operations and requires a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to load and unload trucks, move materials between different warehouse zones, and assist with order fulfillment. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is paramount. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe operation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves significant physical activity, including regular lifting of up to 50 lbs, and may require extended periods of standing and walking. We provide all necessary training and expect all employees to wear appropriate PPE , including safety vests and steel-toed boots, at all times while on the warehouse floor.
