Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the heart of North Carolina's logistics hub? We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our busy distribution center in Durham. In this role, you will be instrumental in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your tasks will include picking items, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. This is a key position that directly impacts customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Label packages for shipment and ensure all shipping information is correct.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is a plus.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
- Good communication skills.
