We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and meticulously preparing them for shipment. This includes verifying order details, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage during transit, and applying shipping labels. Attention to detail and speed are essential to meet our customer demands. You will work within a dynamic Logistics environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. We maintain a strong focus on workplace Safety , and all employees are required to use designated PPE . The role involves significant standing, walking, and regular Lifting of packages. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Verify shipping information and apply labels to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with restocking and inventory management as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE .
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our warehouse Logistics operations.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product information.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Proficiency in packing techniques and materials.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability for regular Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and wearing PPE .
- Understanding of basic Logistics principles.
