Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Coordinator for our facility in Chicago, Illinois. This key role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, staff supervision, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our logistics chain. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety procedures, managing stock levels, optimizing warehouse layout, and coordinating with shipping and receiving departments. Excellent organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse best practices are essential. You will play a critical role in maintaining a productive and safe working environment for the entire team. This position requires hands-on involvement and the ability to problem-solve effectively. Commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is expected. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities and manage workflow.
  • Supervise and train warehouse staff.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management and control.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving operations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
  • Monitor operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement in logistics.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist with physical tasks including lifting and moving inventory when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving lifting and manual labor.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
