We have an immediate opening for an experienced Forklift Operator in Madison, Wisconsin. This position is critical for maintaining the smooth flow of materials within our logistics facility. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, and organize inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory in designated areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and practices.
- Understanding of logistics and material handling procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
