Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our busy logistics hub in Boston, Massachusetts. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the movement and organization of materials throughout our warehouse. Your primary duties will include operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to transport goods, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring that inventory is stored safely and efficiently. This position requires physical strength, precision, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. You will play a key part in maintaining the flow of materials, ensuring that production and shipping schedules are met without interruption. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and store inventory securely and systematically.
  • Conduct daily inspections of material handling equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform tasks involving significant lifting and physical exertion.
  • Support the overall logistics operations with efficient material flow.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role operating forklifts and other heavy machinery. Valid forklift certification is required. Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs). Must be comfortable performing physical tasks, including frequent lifting and prolonged standing. Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of logistics and inventory control is beneficial. We prioritize safety above all else and expect all employees to adhere to strict safety guidelines, including the consistent use of PPE.
