We have an immediate opening for a dedicated Picker/Packer at our busy warehouse in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is essential to our logistics chain, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and then securely packaging them for transit. Attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to safety are paramount. All employees are expected to utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to all established safety protocols. - Accurately picking designated items from various warehouse locations.
- Verifying product details and quantities against order forms.
- Using RF scanners and other technology to track picks.
- Assembling and packaging orders securely for shipment.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintaining a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Following all warehouse safety procedures diligently.
- Properly wearing and using all required PPE.
- Meeting established picking and packing productivity goals.
- Communicating any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse duties. Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently are essential. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs. A commitment to safety and teamwork in our logistics environment is highly valued. This role is a cornerstone of our order fulfillment process.
