We are hiring a diligent Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all outbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting all deadlines. Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order details, labeling packages, and coordinating with carriers. You will play a vital part in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive their orders on time and in excellent condition. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. You will be expected to maintain organized shipping areas and assist with other warehouse duties as needed. A fundamental understanding of shipping procedures and carrier requirements is beneficial. Safety is a top priority, and you will be trained on and expected to follow all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While this role may not involve heavy Lifting, you should be prepared to move packages of various sizes and weights. Familiarity with shipping software and general computer skills is a plus. You will be a key point of contact for carriers and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication throughout the shipping process.
