We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts and other machinery to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your proficiency in handling materials safely and efficiently is crucial to our overall Logistics operation. You will ensure that inventory is stored correctly, picked accurately, and prepared for shipment, all while maintaining a strong focus on workplace Safety . Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move pallets and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing merchandise.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas, production areas, or shipping docks.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all Logistics procedures for material handling and storage.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification or proven experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices for forklift operation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and possess excellent time management skills.
