Join our fast-paced warehouse as an Order Picker in St. Louis, Missouri! As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibility will involve accurately selecting products from warehouse shelves based on order slips or digital pick lists. This role requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of order fulfillment. You will be working within a large-scale logistics network, and your contribution directly impacts customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or digital scanners to locate items in the warehouse.
- Accurately retrieve specified items and quantities from designated locations.
- Verify item numbers and product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items immediately.
- Operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, such as stocking and cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of warehouse Logistics and operational flow.
