We are looking for proactive individuals to assist in the efficient movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading shipments, transporting goods, and ensuring materials are readily available for various warehouse functions. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks, containers, and other transport vehicles.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Stack, sort, and organize materials to ensure efficient storage and accessibility.
- Assist in receiving and shipping processes, verifying counts and identifying damaged goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all housekeeping and safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained and authorized.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervision immediately.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a general warehouse capacity is preferred. Ability to operate material handling equipment is a plus. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, carrying, and moving items. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse procedures. Commitment to safety and ability to follow instructions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently. Good communication skills. Reliability and a strong work ethic.
