Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to place and retrieve inventory in high racking systems.
- Transport materials from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
- Conduct daily inspections of the reach truck and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by ensuring all items are stored in their designated locations.
- Assist with order picking and consolidation as needed.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse safety and efficiency.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory verification processes.
- Ability to perform lifting and moving of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment. Certification for reach truck operation is required. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles. Excellent spatial awareness and precision maneuvering skills. Commitment to safety and ability to follow strict protocols. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Physical ability to stand, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
