We are hiring energetic Picker/Packers in Durham, North Carolina! This position is key to the success of our distribution center and its role in our overall logistics network. Your primary duties will include accurately picking items from our inventory based on customer orders, carefully packing these items to ensure they arrive safely, and preparing them for shipment. We prioritize a safe and healthy work environment, so adherence to all safety regulations and the consistent use of PPE are mandatory. This role demands physical activity, including regular Lifting of products, and the ability to work at a steady pace. Responsibilities:
- Retrieve correct items from inventory locations
- Assemble orders accurately and efficiently
- Package products appropriately for shipment
- Verify order accuracy before sealing packages
- Maintain a tidy and safe workstation
- Use scanning equipment as required
- Comply with all safety rules and wear required PPE
- Support inventory management efforts
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to handle frequent Lifting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Previous experience in warehousing or fulfillment is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety principles
- Willingness to adhere to PPE requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of logistics processes is a plus
