We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety across all logistics functions. You will manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure operational goals are met. This includes optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe lifting practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management and logistics. You will be responsible for fostering a positive and productive work environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate order picking, packing, and shipping processes.
- Oversee inventory management and control procedures.
- Implement and enforce all safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure proper use of PPE.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor productivity and implement strategies for improvement.
- Manage receiving operations and ensure timely processing of incoming goods.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts promptly.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our logistics operations.
This leadership role requires the ability to oversee tasks that involve frequent lifting, often up to 50 pounds, and requires regular standing, walking, and bending. Your leadership in maintaining a safe and efficient logistics environment is crucial.
