In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This position is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order slips or electronic pick lists.
- Use RF scanners and other equipment to track picked items.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with stocking and replenishment of inventory as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety guidelines.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and smooth operation of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous order picking experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a fast-moving environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Understanding and adherence to Safety best practices.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Ability to work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures.
