Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order lists or scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damages or defects before packing.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment, ensuring all information is accurate.
- Operate hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) as required.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation and surrounding work area.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Dexterity to handle small to large items and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Must be able to handle Lifting requirements of up to 40 lbs occasionally.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to Safety in all aspects of the job.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work flexible hours if needed.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as gloves and eye protection.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse setting.
