Are you an experienced technician with a passion for maintaining critical equipment? We're seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin facility. This role is vital for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our warehouse machinery and infrastructure. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of various equipment to keep our logistics operations running smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will directly impact our productivity and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, forklifts, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Respond promptly to equipment malfunctions and troubleshoot problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently, complying with industry standards.
- Collaborate with operations teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Follow all Safety protocols and procedures during maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
- Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing various types of machinery.
- Knowledge of industrial Safety standards and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with Lifting and maneuvering heavy parts.
- Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required for maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
