Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders or pick tickets.
- Utilize RF scanners to track picked items and update inventory records.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy before proceeding.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or repacking.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Must be able to handle lifting up to 45 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Must comply with all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
