We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee operations at our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership and organizational skills. You will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, including staff supervision, inventory management, shipping and receiving coordination, and ensuring adherence to Safety protocols. A thorough understanding of warehouse operations and logistics is essential. Your goal will be to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain a high level of productivity within the warehouse. Strict compliance with all Safety regulations and the mandatory use of PPE is expected from all team members under your supervision. This role may involve some physical tasks, including Lifting and moving materials. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proven ability to lead a team effectively. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities and staff.
- Oversee inventory management, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations for accuracy and timeliness.
- Implement and enforce warehouse Safety procedures and ensure proper PPE usage.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on best practices.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners.
- Address operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Perform light manual tasks, including occasional Lifting , as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all logistics and company policies.
