Become a vital part of our team as a Warehouse Worker in Richmond, Virginia! This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our logistics and distribution operations. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch. You will utilize various warehouse equipment to facilitate the movement of goods efficiently and safely. Our commitment to safety is paramount; therefore, all Warehouse Workers are required to adhere to strict safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves significant physical demands, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 pounds, as well as prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. We are seeking motivated, reliable individuals who possess excellent attention to detail and can work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. - Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas accurately and efficiently.
- Pick customer orders from inventory using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack orders securely and accurately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging for carrier pickup.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as directed.
- Meet performance expectations for productivity and accuracy.
This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy an active workday and are committed to maintaining accuracy. Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus. The ability to handle regular Lifting is a key requirement for this position.
