Our fast-paced distribution center in Boise, Idaho is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to contribute to our growing logistics operations. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your daily tasks will involve selecting items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and carefully packing them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow established safety procedures and utilize required PPE . The role involves significant physical activity, including walking, bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 40 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and wear provided PPE .
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability for physical tasks, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Experience with order picking and packing in a logistics setting is a plus.
