Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Stack and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and racks.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts, reporting any issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensure proper handling of all materials to prevent damage.
- Coordinate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator, with valid certification.
- Knowledge of different forklift types and their operation.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and regulations.
- Must be able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Familiarity with logistics and inventory management principles.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
