Join our bustling warehouse in Portland, Oregon, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for energetic individuals to contribute to our efficient order fulfillment process. Your main duties will involve locating and retrieving specified items from inventory, meticulously packing them for shipment, and ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time. This role is key to our logistics operations, ensuring a seamless flow of goods from our facility to our valued customers. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Select and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to order details.
- Package items securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your workspace.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management activities as directed.
Qualifications:
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Prior warehouse picking and packing experience is preferred.
- Ability to work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Capable of lifting up to 45 pounds repetitively.
- Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices is important.
- Must utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
