We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators for our busy distribution center in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our **logistics** chain by ensuring efficient movement of goods. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory to and from storage locations, and stage orders for shipment. Safety is our utmost priority, and all Forklift Operators must rigorously follow **safety** protocols, conduct daily equipment inspections, and wear all required **PPE**. This position requires a high level of skill in maneuvering materials, including careful **lifting** and placement. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trailers and containers with accuracy and efficiency.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse, including storage and shipping docks.
- Perform routine **safety** checks and maintenance on forklift equipment, reporting any defects.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately using forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure stock is stored correctly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all **safety** regulations and wear appropriate **PPE**, such as **safety** glasses, vests, and steel-toed boots.
- Support the overall **logistics** operations of the facility.
- Handle **lifting** of various palletized goods and materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current and valid forklift operator certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and **logistics**.
- Demonstrated commitment to **safety** and proficiency in **PPE** usage.
- Ability to perform heavy **lifting** and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong spatial awareness and motor skills.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
