Join our bustling warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland as an Order Picker! This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing company and contribute to the efficient fulfillment of customer orders. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders, using hand-held scanning devices. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to ensuring our customers receive the correct products in a timely manner. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations and requires a keen eye for accuracy. You will navigate the warehouse efficiently, locate products, and prepare them for packing and shipping. This position demands physical stamina, as it involves significant walking, standing, and frequent lifting of items up to 40 lbs. Maintaining a safe work environment is a top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the proper use of required PPE , such as safety vests and gloves, is mandatory. We are looking for motivated individuals who are eager to contribute to a team environment and take pride in their work. Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities include: Accurately picking items for customer orders using scanners. Locating products efficiently within the warehouse. Preparing picked items for packing and shipment. Maintaining an organized and clean work area. Performing quality checks on picked items. Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures. Wearing required PPE at all times. Contributing to team goals and objectives. Assisting with inventory management as needed. Understanding and following all warehouse operational procedures.
