Join our team in Boise, Idaho as a Material Handler. This role is fundamental to our warehouse operations, ensuring that materials are moved, stored, and tracked efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving incoming goods, moving materials to designated storage areas, and preparing them for further processing or shipment. This position requires physical stamina and a commitment to maintaining an organized and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming materials and products.
- Move materials from receiving to storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Prepare materials for internal transfers or external shipment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety guidelines.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times, including safety shoes and vests.
- Assist with general warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to perform manual tasks and heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs). Familiarity with material handling equipment is a plus. Understanding of inventory control principles. A strong commitment to workplace safety and efficiency. Knowledge of Logistics operations is an advantage. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a warehouse setting with potential for exposure to dust and varying temperatures. The job involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
