We are looking for a diligent Distribution Center Associate to join our growing team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is vital to our daily logistics operations, involving the efficient handling of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products, all while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your contribution ensures customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick items from inventory for customer orders.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Label shipments correctly and prepare them for dispatch.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear the designated PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
