We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Austin, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our **logistics** operations by safely and efficiently moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. This position requires a high level of skill and responsibility, with a strict adherence to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements being absolutely essential. You will be operating various types of forklifts and may be involved in loading and unloading trucks, as well as staging materials for internal use or shipment. The ability to perform occasional **lifting** of items that cannot be forklifted is also expected. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse areas.
- Stack and store inventory according to established procedures.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all **safety** protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**.
- Assist with inventory management and **logistics** tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent knowledge of **safety** procedures for operating heavy machinery.
- Ability to perform **lifting** and moving of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics**.
- Must wear required **PPE**.
