Join our vibrant team in Boston, Massachusetts as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking motivated individuals to ensure the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for retrieving items from our warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for maintaining high customer satisfaction and supporting our overall logistics operations. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing scanning technology and adhering to strict quality control measures. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order requirements.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order contents against shipping documents.
- Utilize RF scanning devices to manage inventory accurately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our logistics process.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial. Ability to stand, walk, and lift for the duration of the shift. Must be able to perform frequent lifting. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures is crucial. Understanding of basic logistics principles is helpful. Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE.
