Join our growing team as a Fulfillment Associate in Des Moines, Iowa! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our e-commerce fulfillment operations. Your primary responsibilities will include picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. This role is essential for ensuring our customers receive their products accurately and on time. You will be working in a modern warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and technology to fulfill orders efficiently. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is key. This position involves a significant amount of walking, standing, and **lifting** throughout your shift. We emphasize a strong **safety** culture and provide all necessary **PPE** to ensure your well-being. Understanding the flow of **logistics** and contributing to operational excellence are core aspects of this role. You will be trained on our order management systems and best practices for handling a diverse range of products. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Label and prepare packages for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all **safety** regulations and utilize provided **PPE**.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of inventory as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the **logistics** operations.
- Perform **lifting** of packages up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in **lifting** and moving items.
- Basic understanding of **logistics** and inventory control.
- Commitment to workplace **safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
