Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Fort Worth, Texas! This role is critical to ensuring our products reach our customers accurately and on time. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for processing outgoing shipments, verifying package contents, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers. You will play a vital role in the efficiency of our warehouse operations. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of shipping procedures. You will work closely with the warehouse management team to streamline shipping processes and identify areas for improvement. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process all outgoing shipments.
- Verify that order contents match shipping documentation.
- Generate and affix shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Coordinate with various shipping carriers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS, freight).
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of shipping supplies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with receiving and stocking inbound shipments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status.
- Ensure all Lifting requirements are met safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a shipping or logistics role is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Basic computer proficiency, including experience with shipping software. A strong commitment to Safety is paramount.
