Analytics Lead – Omnichannel Orchestration & Next Best Engagement (NBE)

Remote in Canada (excluding Quebec)

Up to $200,000 CAD + Bonus + Benefits


Harnham is partnering with a major global pharmaceutical organisation undergoing a large-scale investment in Automated Omnichannel Orchestration and Next Best Engagement (NBE). They are building out a sophisticated decisioning engine that will determine how HCPs are engaged across channels — and they need a hands-on Analytics Lead to drive that evolution.


This role blends analytics, data science, omnichannel strategy, and high-value stakeholder engagement. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the logic, sequencing, and personalisation that power a world-class NBE model.


THE ROLE

As the Analytics Lead for Omnichannel Orchestration , you will design and deliver the analytics behind the organisation’s next best engagement strategy across US brands. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in data-driven commercial environments and wants ownership of an enterprise-level orchestration engine.


You will:

  • Lead development of Next Best Engagement logic, sequencing frameworks, and decisioning rules.
  • Work hands-on in SQL and Python to access, validate, and analyse omnichannel and media data.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve measurement frameworks to evaluate campaign effectiveness and channel performance.
  • Support marketing mix modelling, attribution, and broader commercial analytics as needed.
  • Translate complex analytics into simple, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with brand, omnichannel strategy, digital, media, and commercial teams.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.
  • Conduct hands-on analytical work where required — this is not a purely managerial role.


This is a strategic analytics and orchestration role, not a heavy modelling position.

The focus is on building a scalable decisioning engine, sequencing logic, and high-impact measurement — not producing dozens of machine learning models.


YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong SQL and Python capabilities.
  • Experience applying analytics within marketing, media and omnichannel environments.
  • Experience with journey optimisation, sequencing, or cross-channel orchestration.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Next Best Action / Next Best Engagement / Personalisation / Decisioning.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity for business stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in dynamic, multi-stakeholder commercial environments.
  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or another regulated industry (preferred).
  • Exposure to tools such as Pega, Adobe, Salesforce Interaction Studio, Veeva, OCE, SAS RTDM (nice to have, not required).
