About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, organized, and people-focused HR Manager to oversee the day-to-day HR operations in a stable and rapidly growing manufacturing environment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being close to the floor, solving problems in real time, and supporting employees and managers daily.

⚙️ What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day Responsibilities)

• Serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers on all HR-related questions
• Oversee the daily activities of the HR team (HR Generalist & HR Technician)
• Manage attendance, scheduling changes, employee files, and HR documentation
• Handle employee relations: investigations, disciplinary actions, coaching, and conflict resolution
• Manage CNESST, health & safety follow-ups, work accidents, and disability claims
• Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for plant and office roles
• Coordinate training, performance check-ins, and employee engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with policies, labor standards, and company procedures
• Maintain HR systems and reports (ADP), including timesheets, data updates, and reporting
• Collaborate with plant leadership on day-to-day operational needs and workforce planning

What You Bring

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Industrial Relations
• Strong employee relations background with solid judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in French & English
• Proficient with Excel and ADP (or similar software)
• CRHA designation is an asset
