INTERMEDIATE GRAPHIC DESIGNER

LOCATION: IN-OFFICE, LONDON, ONTARIO

FULL-TIME EMPLOYMENT

Matrix Four is a boutique creative agency serving a full range of clients locally, throughout Canada and across the globe. We work with a diverse range of brands to provide marketing strategy, packaging, print and digital communications, along with a full complement of creative services. We are a small but agile team with a vast array of knowledge to build brands that succeed - in the market, on shelf and online.


THE ROLE:

As an Intermediate Graphic Designer, you will work alongside our Creative team to develop and execute top-notch creative with the end goal to grow a brand, launch a new product or expand consumer reach through social platforms. The ability to see a project from concept, through to completion is expected. You strive to keep in touch with what is happening in the market, and on the shelf, and possess a love to explore new design concepts and avenues.


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

·      Keen interest in branding and packaging design

·      Degree or diploma in Graphic Design

·      Relevant industry experience of 3+ Years

·      Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); After Effects is an asset

·      Basic knowledge of print production practices, must be competent to build print-ready art

·      Working knowledge of Microsoft programs

·      Web design and or illustration skills are considered an asset

·      Portfolio demonstrating strong design principles, respecting brand guardrails, while employing strategic and creative tactics on project work

·      Ability to interact, present and collaborate with the Agency team to develop unique design approaches to a variety of Client needs

·      Keen sense of detail, and a desire for the perfect combination of typography, colour and layout

·      Excellent communication skills

·      Effective time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize as needed

·      A positive, team-forward attitude and a genuine interest in the success of our Clients and the culture of our studio
