About Us


AP Electrique is a fast-growing electrical contracting company specializing in data center projects. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship, reliability, and strong team culture. We are seeking experienced Electricians, and all apprentice levels, to support the construction of Data Center projects in Calgary.


About the Role:


The ideal candidates bring strong technical expertise, professionalism on the jobsite, and a commitment to delivering high-quality electrical installations. You will work closely with field leadership, apprentices, and project teams to support successful project execution.


Key Responsibilities


  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components according to codes and project specifications.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, one-lines, and installation details.
  • Lead and mentor apprentices while maintaining a productive and safe work environment.
  • Perform layout, routing, and installation of conduit, cabling, devices, panels, grounding, and terminations.
  • Conduct testing, verification, and quality checks on installed systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Collaborate with foremen, supervisors, and other trades to resolve field issues.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, material requests, and documentation as required.
  • Participate in jobsite safety meetings and uphold all safety procedures.


Qualifications


  • Valid Journeyman Electrician certification (Red Seal or applicable regional equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical code and best installation practices.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and coordinate with other disciplines.
  • Proven ability to lead or mentor apprentices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job (lifting, climbing, working at heights, etc.).
