12 - Month Contract: January 2026 – June 2026


Amir Quality Meats, a wholesale meat production company located in Brampton, Ontario, is currently seeking a Production Supervisor for a 12 month contract .


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to oversee our production operations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating daily production activities, ensuring that processes run efficiently and meet quality standards. Your duties will include supervising production staff, monitoring workflow, resolving operational issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols. You will also be responsible for maintaining production schedules, optimizing productivity, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Job Description


  • Manage employee performance, providing positive and /or corrective feedback.
  • Promote Safety throughout assigned work area.
  • Ensure proper staffing before start-up of production line.
  • Supervise, coach and train employees, providing professional development through on-going feedback concerning strengths and areas in need of improvement.
  • Mentor and motivate employees, providing training and development to optimize their performance and personal growth.
  • Facilitate employee meetings, including employee training.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is completed and maintained.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with employees while promoting company values such as, good attendance, strong work ethic and a desire to see the company succeed.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with company policy, standards and procedures, quality standards, and QA/HACCP.
  • Direct employees on a daily basis to efficiently meet all production goals.
  • Responsible for employees’ performance, development, safety and work schedule.
  • Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP, SSOPs and GMPs.
  • Optimize employee engagement through positive leadership.
  • Maximize yields while minimizing down time, accidents and turnover.
  • Ensure a food safe and sanitary environment within specifications and USDA requirements.
  • Establish and meet production schedules and efficiencies.
  • All other duties as assigned.


At a Minimum, You Have

The minimum education qualification for this role is typically a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional qualifications such as an associate's degree or certification in the related field would be advantageous.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, varying shifts, and holidays as required.
  • Willing and able to work in a cold environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Team player who is comfortable collaborating with other departments and working independently.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
