Scandecor a female-founded and female-led Scandinavian luxury rug brand serving the interior design and architecture community is seeking a highly creative, strategic, and visually driven Social Media Growth Specialist. This role is perfect for someone with a refined aesthetic sensibility, a deep understanding of the high?end design world, and a proven ability to grow a brands digital presence organically. Our priority platform is Instagram, with secondary light support for Pinterest and LinkedIn. Our role focuses on: Increasing followers and reach Strengthening brand identity and visual consistency Developing content strategies aligned with launches, showroom openings, and designer partnerships Creating and capturing on?brand photo and video content
This is a remote?first position, but ideally based in the New York metropolitan area. Must be available to travel to our Westchester, NY, or Ridgefield, CT offices for content shoots as needed. What Youll Do Develop and execute a growth?driven Instagram strategy Plan, produce, and edit photo and video content (Reels, Stories, posts) Capture in?person content of products, samples, and behind?the?scenes moments Manage posting schedules, engagement, and community interactions
Support light tasks on Pinterest and LinkedIn (company updates) Track analytics and report on growth, engagement, and performance
Who You Are
A visual storyteller with a strong design eye Experienced with social growth for luxury, design, or lifestyle brands Skilled in both strategy and hands?on content creation Confident creating Reels and short?form video content Comfortable directing and styling small product shoots Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently Available for in?person shoots in NY metro area
Preferred Skills
Strong photography and video skills (iPhone or camera) Proficiency with editing tools (CapCut, Lightroom, VSCO, Canva, etc.) Understanding of interior design trends and luxury brand aesthetics Experience with influencer outreach or brand collaborations (optional, not required)
