We have an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Clerk in Des Moines, Iowa. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all outgoing shipments. Your duties will include preparing shipping labels, verifying order contents, packing items securely, and coordinating with various shipping carriers. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential to ensure that all orders are dispatched correctly and on schedule. You will also maintain organized shipping records and assist in managing shipping supplies. This role requires effective communication with internal teams and external carriers to ensure a seamless shipping process. Safety is a top priority; you will be expected to follow all warehouse Safety guidelines and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). While extensive Lifting may not be a primary function, you should be comfortable handling packages of various sizes and weights. Familiarity with shipping software and basic computer proficiency is beneficial.
