State of MI Position Summary
Software Solution Architect will support and complete tasks necessary to design and implement a methodology to enable the MDHHS Health Services ESB to track the transmission of messages and provide additional related services for interfaces connecting to the Data Hub. The architect will work under the direction of DTMB Customer Services, MDHHS and DTMB cross-matrix teams, supporting the MDHHS Enterprise ISA technical team. The resource is integral to supporting and improving MDHHS automated processes, streamlining critical business processes, data integrity, SEM/SUITE compliance, and securing applications. They will also provide application oversight to business analysts and other teams integrating with Health Enterprise Service Bus (HESB). Responsibilities Develop solutions for new use cases. Develop interfaces based on business requirements and specifications. Create technical requirements and system design based on business requirements. Develop custom filters using Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK). Create mappers and mapper definitions using EDI message designer. Write JavaScript code with Rhapsody using JavaScript (v1) and (v2) filters. Develop API calls for SOAP, REST, and web services. Translate data formats from HL7v2, HL7 v3, FHIR, CCDA, XML, JSON, and flat file as required. Work on CDA mapping and conversions. Prepare code review SUITE SDLC documents. Develop database connections for MSSQL or Oracle databases. Develop TCP, HTTP, LLP, and OAUTH connections as per standards. Responsible for overall system design. Responsible for overall code and configuration.
Skills Required Technical and Health Care IT Skills
JavaScript programming. SQL. XML. HL7 version 2.x messaging. HL7 FHIR. CDA standards and related document types. Health care vocabularies: LOINC, SNOMED, RxNorm. Health Information Exchange (HIE) technology. Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE). Implementing solutions based on Implementation Guides.
Desired Rhapsody Skills
Use of latest Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x). Use of Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK) to create custom filters, mappers, etc. Custom message payload translation between formats. Experience using web services, SOAP, REST, OAUTH, TCP connections, LLP, etc. Experience with transport encryption/security: TLS, mutual authorization via certificates.
