Sales Assistant

Sales Consultant – Showroom & Trade Counter Location: Derby | Permanent | Tuesday to Saturday £19,500 – £25,000 per year + Bonus Scheme + Excellent Benefits Start Date: Late June / Early July

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join a well-established, high-performing team at a busy showroom and trade counter based in Derby.

This is a varied, full-time role ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and wants to be part of a company that genuinely values its staff. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service to both trade and retail customers

Handle incoming calls and customer enquiries in a professional and helpful manner

Process customer orders and payments accurately

Support with maintaining well-presented displays and clear product labelling

Contribute to merchandising and general showroom upkeep

Assist with basic warehouse duties when required

Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the site

What We’re Looking For:

A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills

A true team player who enjoys being part of a supportive and hands-on environment

Someone with the ability to stay calm and organised during busy periods

Previous experience in a customer-facing role is essential

Willingness to work five days per week, including Saturdays

Hours:

Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday

Standard working hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm (4:00pm finish on Saturdays)

One-hour lunch break

Sundays and Mondays off

Flexibility with hours available where needed

Salary & Benefits:

£19,500 – £25,000 per year (depending on experience)
