*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. Your expertise will help improve patients’ quality of life by developing personalized therapy plans and providing compassionate patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children in early intervention programs and pediatric patients in school settings. Your skills in physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology will be essential to delivering effective therapy and supporting patient progress.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify communication challenges and swallowing difficulties
* Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique needs and goals
* Implement evidence-based therapy techniques for pediatric patients, including those in early intervention programs
* Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care strategies
* Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy approaches accordingly
* Educate families and caregivers on home exercises and strategies to support ongoing development
* Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and patient outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards
*Qualifications*
* Proven experience working with pediatric populations and school-based settings is highly preferred
* Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
* Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and interpret clinical data effectively
* Familiarity with early intervention protocols for young children with speech or language delays
* Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and educate families
* Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the relevant jurisdiction
